A collaboration with Sakiroo Choi

In 2011 Jean Paul had the chance to meet Sakiroo Choi over a magazine they both appeared in, and decided to start working on a collaboration. They decided to work together despite the thousands of kilometers between them.

The subject to the collaboration was interpreting famous collaboration songs from the history of music, both reflecting music as a universal language that they both could relate too, and displaying the power of teamwork.

After that collaboration, Sakiroo and pol continued a great friendship and even met up in Miami and Mexico to develop new projects. we continue to wait for new work by this Powerbass duo.

According to them

Collective exhibition between Colombian and South Korean artists, in Wynwood miami, during the Art Basel 2012.

Collective exhibition between Colombian and South Korean artists, in Wynwood miami, during the Art Basel 2012.

In 2012 a group of 8 talented Colombian artists lead by Jean Paul Egred and other 8 great South Korean artists Lead by Sakiroo Choi, got together a group exhibition named ''According to them''.

The exhibition intended to show the perception the artists had of the icons from the opposite country, so, a national icon was handed for each artist to make his own interpretation of, and a video was made of the whole experience.

At the end, Armando Mesias, Camilo Paredes, and Jean paul egred traveled to miami to meet up with Sakiroo Choi, and Sejin Park (08AM) who flew all the way from korea to make this happen. In addition to the exhibition that took place during the days of art basel, in wynwood miami, they also performed live painting in wynwood to drive people to the showcase.

the experience was pretty amazing.
